Anne Wacera Wambugu

I am an electrical engineer specializing in off-grid solar and sustainable energy systems. My expertise covers the technical development of solar systems and research on quality and safety of electricity systems.

My experience includes overseeing the technical development of Sunsafe as its Founder and CTO, leading electricity access projects, and managing electrification research and consultancy projects at Strathmore University.

I have worked on numerous projects in solar energy, electric appliances, e-mobility, and electricity systems quality. My work also focuses on the inclusion of women in the renewable energy sector, especially female engineers.

I am driven by a passion to address Africa's energy challenges, and I'm dedicated to advancing sustainable and quality electricity solutions across the continent.
